Degree Show Machine

This year, my workplace Confetti ICT held a special showcase event to celebrate the work produced by our degree students whilst building up to an awards ceremony that evening. You can see the finished visuals I made here.

This page may look pretty ruined, but I wanted to try something out. There's a couple of good books out there that I've been looking up. One in particular is called "Ruin This Journal". It instructs the reader to doodle on each page in different ways, like ripping a page, stamping your foot on a page, spilling your coffee on a page, and even selling a page.

A Bunch Of Eyes

The way I usually draw eyes could do with some kind of improvement. Eyes are very important to the viewer. If I wanted to convey a character feeling a very specific emotion, they've gotta be drawn just right, even on a minimal level.

From the top left down, I think these pairs of eyes were inspired by the following artists...

Kenya Danino (
Marjane Satrapi (Illustrator/Director of "Persepolis")
